Roster set (for now)

At this point, the Kings intend to go into the season with the 23 players who were on the ice this morning. That includes Kly Clifford, Andrei Loktionov, Trevor Lewis and Brayden Schenn, but that also presumes that Scott Parse wil start the season on injured reserve. When Parse returns, the Kings will need to drop one forward. Parse did skate after practice today, but was not on the ice for practice.

Rich Clune and Erik Ersberg have been assigned to Manchester, but Dean Lombardi said Ersberg might explore options in Europe. That could take a few days to sort itself out. More from today’s practice to come…
