The Kings’ eighth goal came on the power play, with 6:48 remaining in the game. Jack Johnson beat McIlhinney with a long-range wrist shot to give the Kings a seven-goal lead. The goal was Johnson’s second of the game. Anze Kopitar picked up his fourth assist, and Andrei Loktionov got an assist.
