No goal change

After an NHL review, credit for the Kings’ first goal will NOT be changed. Video review appeared to show Brad Richardson redirecting the shot, but the NHL deemed it “inconclusive.” Anze Kopitar gets the goal, so congrats to him (again) for setting a career high with his 33rd goal. For the record, team management, not an individual player, asks for a goal review if it seems possible that the goal has been incorrectly awarded. For instance, the second assist on the third-period game-tying goal was changed. It was initially credited to Davis Drewiske…who hadn’t even been on the ice.
