Jonathan Quick’s postgame thoughts…

(on the win…)
QUICK: “It was a great game. It was a great third period, just having that lead and not giving it up, and the way we played, the way we killed penalties, it gives the team a little boost in confidence after these last two games. As a team, we just didn’t play well in those two games. So that’s in the past. Now this is in the past. We just have to build off it and continue forward.”

(on the successful penalty kill of late…)
QUICK: “I think it’s just being real detailed. Everyone is competing, everyone is battling. We’re killing off a lot of time down in their zone. Richie, today, among a few other guys, just spent some time in the corners of their zone, and that really helps out. We’re blocking shots, and the PK is really playing well right now.”
