Sharks 2, Kings 1

The Sharks took a 2-0 lead with a power-play goal 4:40 into the second period. Joe Thornton held the puck near the right boards and dropped it low to Dany Heatley, who took two whacks at the puck and scored.

The two-goal lead didn’t last though, as the Kings scored 37 seconds later. Alexander Frolov shot from the slot, and Evgeni Nabokov made the save but the rebound kicked wide left. Randy Jones was there for the shot and the goal at the 5:17 mark.
