Brad vs. Brad

As I get ready to head out for the 11 a.m. practice, here’s a little food for thought. Seeing Brad Stuart last night, and seeing his name on the quotes this morning, of course raises the memory that Stuart played for the Kings before he got traded to Detroit.

Stuart went to Detroit for second- and fourth-round draft picks, and the Kings later traded that second-round pick to Colorado for Brad Richardson. For a long time, a segment of fans rightfully wondered about that trade, and why it was made. Now, almost two years out, was it worth it? What would you rather have: Richardson, Stuart or the player the Kings would have drafted? Colorado used the pick on goalie Peter Delmas, who is still in junior.
