I did indeed get to hear Terry Murray say the words “therapy day” in describing why Alexander Frolov wasn’t on the ice today, and Murray was more forthcoming in saying that Frolov had a sore hip flexor. Murray said he expected Frolov to be back on the ice tomorrow.
It remains to be seen where Frolov will skate, however, since Murray also said that he’s staying with a line of Parse, Stoll and Brown, which he thought worked well in last night’s game. That could be a reunion of the Frolov, Handzus and Simmonds line.
More on this, and other notes, throughout the day…
