Jack Johnson scored a 4-on-4 goal with 8:40 remaining in the second period. Michal Handzus brought the puck up the right side and sent a backhand centering pass toward Jack Johnson, who perfectly knocked down the puck as he skated toward the net, past Nabokov. Peter Harrold also got an assist.

Then, with 7:44 remaining, and with two seconds left on the 4-on-4, Anze Kopitar took a neutral-zone pass from Drew Doughty, skated up the right side and ripped a slap shot from the right circle. It perfectly found the top right corner of the net.
