End of first: Kings 1-0

That period was miles better than anything the Kings showed on Saturday. Net presence, good puck movement, quick and smart through the neutral zone and, perhaps most notably, some outstanding play by Jonathan Quick, who at one point made a great save without his stick. A very entertaining period all around, with Quick making 14 saves and Evgeni Nabokov making nine.
