Greetings from the Scottrade Center, a building the team has become awfully familiar with.

If you have some time today, I hope you’ll give my weekly LAKings.com feature a spin. It details the team’s blue line heading into the playoffs 12 months after the defensive pairings didn’t change over the final 41 regular season and playoff games. It contains a poignant Darryl Sutter’s observation from last week: “The reason we made the playoffs is because of Muzzin and Ellerby, very simple…We made it because of those guys, not because somebody else was hurt. We might not be in the playoffs. We don’t know. We made it because of Muzzin and Ellerby. Those guys did an awesome job for us.”

More notes, quotes and multimedia to come following practice, which is scheduled to get going at 2:00 pm CT.
