Darryl Sutter’s postgame thoughts…
(on drawing a playoff matchup with Vancouver…)
SUTTER: “Well, I’ve done it before so we’ll do it again.’’
(on the third-period penalties…)
SUTTER: “We had the 4-on-4, the minor after we scored. Greener’s penalty, I’m not going to hold Greener out on that one, because he’s got to play a physical game. We’re trying to get him to play a physical game. When you get into those situations, the high end of their team comes forward. There were two 4-on-4 goals and a power-play goal.’’
(on the Kings’ play…)
SUTTER: “I think, once they announced it the other night, our team was satisfied with being a playoff team. So now, my responsibility is to make sure they’re not (still) satisfied.’’
(on why he thought the team was satisfied…)
SUTTER: “I think I have a good feel for it, based on how your top players play. I think that we did a pretty good job hanging in there tonight, without some of our top players playing very well.’’
