John Stevens joined The Power Play on SiriusXM NHL earlier today and shared several interesting notes on coaching philosophies and what he’ll expect from his team. He expressed confidence that Anze Kopitar will have a bounce-back season, and for the second straight day, cited analytics (more on that tomorrow) and referenced zone entries and higher-percentage shooting locations as means towards summoning more offense from his group. It’s a good listen:
