Insiders! Good evening from Ohio’s capital city. Earlier today, Columbus Blue Jackets Manager of Digital and Social Media Rob Mixer and I joined Jesse Cohen to preview tomorrow’s Kings-Blue Jackets game. Earlier this decade, Los Angeles and Columbus emerged as among the most innovative franchises in professional sports in communicating with their fanbases, and Rob, while also sharing an interesting look inside the Blue Jackets’ dressing room (and what has led to the team’s nine-game winning streak), offers a glimpse into how professional sports teams hold conversations online. If you’re not into the whole social media and sports link, I also share updates on the Kings’ goaltending and how they plan on moving forward while also sharing updates on Dustin Brown and Brayden McNabb as we head deeper into this season-long seven-game, pre-Christmas road trip.
