Notes:
-Thank you for your patience as content has slowed over the last 24 hours. Some of the Life Stuff that took up part of yesterday has seeped into today, and with a five-game trip looming, t’s and i’s needed to be crossed and dotted before we leave town. There’s no stress or bad news or anything; over the course of an 82-game season, personal stuff will cause an occasional blog delay. I hope to have some good (non-news) to share with you soon. A stick tap to Alex Kinkopf for helping out with some practice coverage.
-The lines! Trevor Lewis moves into the “third line” center role, where Nick Shore had been. Shore slots back as a “fourth line” center, while Andy Andreoff moves from center to right wing.
-Alec Martinez (concussion-like symptoms) skated alongside Jamie McBain again, which would be an indication that he’s likely out tomorrow. However, as has just developed, Martinez has been activated from injured reserve, so there’s a chance he could be in (more on this later). As for whether he’ll actually be in the lineup, to quote Darryl Sutter, “Wait ’til the song.”
-Tanner Pearson joined the skate as the official practice ended. There’s no firm timetable for his return, though his skates are expected to pick up in frequency as he continues to recover from a broken lower left fibula.
-Jarret Stoll (upper-body) did not skate.
-No surprise: Jonathan Quick left the ice first and is expected to start in net against the Vancouver Canucks tomorrow (1:00 p.m. / FOX Sports West).
-Via NBCSN: “In Los Angeles, the Kings-Ducks Wednesday Nightcap contest delivered a 1.12 rating, making it the third highest-rated NHL regular-season game in the market (excluding LA-ANA Stadium Series matchup).”
-A reminder: It’s Bailey’s birthday tomorrow. Make sure you wish him a happy birthday.
-Speaking of the Canucks:
Kassian and Richardson are not traveling, Burrows and Dorsett are. Lack and Markstrom will split games, Eddie vs. LA. #Canucks

Also, congratulations to Ryan Miller and family:
Congrats to @RyanMiller3039 & @noureendewulf on the birth of their baby boy Bodhi! Born at 3:06 a.m., he's 7 lbs. and he and mom are well.
