-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 59-57-17 all-time against San Jose, a record that includes a road mark of 22-34-12. The Kings improved to 2-2-0 thus far in the five-game season series, with the teams’ rubber match scheduled for Game #82 on April 11 at Staples Center.

-With the win, Los Angeles extended its winning streak to a season-long seven games. The streak is tied for the fifth-longest in team history (fourth time), and the longest since Los Angeles won eight consecutive games from February 6 to March 10, 2014. The Kings have won a season-high four consecutive road games.

-Drew Doughty played his 500th NHL game, surpassing Lubomir Visnovsky for sixth place overall on Los Angeles’ all-time list of games played by a defenseman.

-Jonathan Quick won his 200th NHL game, becoming the 76th goaltender in NHL history and first goaltender in Kings history to reach 200 wins.

-Home teams fell to 15-3-1 in the last 19 regular season games in the series.

-Away teams improved to 11-3-1 all-time in NHL outdoor games.

-The Kings’ streak of scoring at least three goals ended at six games. They have averaged three goals per game in February (27 G / 9 GP).

-Marian Gaborik’s 65th career game-winning goal tied him with Shane Doan for ninth place amongst active players. Gaborik’s 364 career goals are the 12th most amongst active players.

-Jeff Carter has recorded points in six consecutive games (4-6=10).

-Dwight King’s career-long five-game point streak was snapped.

-King, Carter and Tyler Toffoli have combined for 33 points in the 11 games since the All-Star Break.

-Jonathan Quick has stopped 185-of-198 shots (.934 Sv%) during the seven-game winning streak.

-With 32:01 of ice time, Drew Doughty set a record for the most minutes in an NHL regular season outdoor game. Doughty has logged at least 30 minutes of ice time in 27 of the team’s 58 games and leads the NHL with an average of 29:28.

-The crowd of 70,205 represented the third-largest crowd in NHL history, trailing the 2014 Winter Classic (105,491 / Detroit-Toronto / Michigan Stadium) and the 2008 Winter Classic (71,217 / Buffalo-Pittsburgh / Ralph Wilson Stadium).

– Anze Kopitar and Robyn Regehr both registered five blocked shots, setting a regular season outdoor game NHL record. Regehr previously shared the record, having blocked four shots for Calgary in the 2011 Heritage Classic. Los Angeles and San Jose combined for 32 blocked shots, (LAK: 18, SJS: 14), equaling a regular-season outdoor NHL game record set in the 2010 Winter Classic (PHI: 20, BOS: 12).

-Kyle Clifford’s goal 2:46 into the first period snapped a 15-game goal drought and represented the third-fastest goal from the opening faceoff in NHL outdoor game history, trailing Colby Armstrong (0:21 for PIT in 2008 WC) and Corey Perry (2:45 for ANA in 2014 SS-LA).

-The Kings and Sharks combined for 94 hits (SJSL 49, LAK: 45), setting a record for a regular-season outdoor NHL game. The previous mark of 91 was established by the Rangers and Flyers in the 2012 Winter Classic (NYR: 50, PHI: 41). Tommy Wingels led all skaters with 11 hits, while Trevor Lewis led L.A. with six.

-Los Angeles became the eighth team to play in multiple outdoor games, joining Chicago (3), the New York Rangers (3), Pittsburgh (3), Detroit (2), Montreal (2), Philadelphia (2) and Washington (2).

-The Kings attempted 62 shots (29 on goal, 14 blocked, 19 missed). The Sharks attempted 62 shots (32 on goal, 18 blocked, 12 missed).
