December 19 practice notes

Good afternoon from El Segundo, where the Kings recently wrapped up their 11:00 a.m. practice.

Line pairings, via line rushes:

Gaborik – Kopitar – Carter
Brown – Stoll – Williams
Pearson – Lewis – Toffoli
Clifford – Richards – King
Nolan

Muzzin – Doughty
Martinez – Greene
McNabb – McBain

-As noted, Robyn Regehr (upper-body) did not skate today. He’s being evaluated, and Jeff Schultz will be recalled. Schultz wasn’t at practice today, and it’s not clear whether he’d play tomorrow. Brayden McNabb and Jamie McBain formed the third pairing at today’s practice.

-Jordan Nolan remained on the ice for some extra work with Martin Jones. Considering he was an extra during line rushes, it’s unlikely he’ll play tomorrow against Arizona.

-Because Saturday’s game is a matinee, the #LAKingsGoalieTweetOff applies. Jonathan Quick left the ice first; expect him to start against the Coyotes.

-For Arizona, F Lauri Korpikoski (lower-body) and D Michael Stone (upper-body) are day-to-day.
