-The Kings overcame a 0-2 series deficit for the second time in club history. In 2001, seventh-seeded Los Angeles trailed second-seeded Detroit 2-0 before winning four consecutive games. Prior to this year, the Kings were 1-9 in best-of-seven series when losing the first two games.
-The Kings improved to 13-10 when faced with a chance to close out a series. They are 5-4 under Darryl Sutter with a chance to close out a series.
-The Kings improved to 13-6 all-time in Game 6s.
-The Kings improved to 13-19 all-time in best-of-seven series, and 12-20 all-time when the opponent has home ice advantage in a series.
