Greetings from Vancouver, where everyone is settled into the team hotel and the rain has managed to stay away, at least for a while. For those who want to get an inside look at the first-round series, Jim Fox will be taking questions on a live chat on LAKings.com today from 6-7 p.m. Pacific time. Click below for the link…
At Canucks practice today, the chatter was all about the fact that Daniel Sedin did not practice. Sedin, who missed the final nine regular-season games because of a concussion, practiced yesterday and seemed on track to play. The team said that Sedin has not suffered a setback. Will Sedin be held out tomorrow, or is it playoff gamesmanship. Asked about Sedin’s non-practice status, Darryl Sutter left little doubt about his opinion…
SUTTER: “Them guys are playing games with us, right? We shouldn’t have had Carter practice with us. Then I could have said, `Oh, he’s not traveling.’ I try to be honest, or not say nothing. Hey, that’s a part of it.’’
Question: So you’re planning on seeing him in the lineup tomorrow?
SUTTER: “Absolutely. Sedin, Sedin, Burrows. Absolutely.’’
