These Kings certainly are a difficult group to figure out. The Kings entered last night’s game with five regulation goals in their previous four games, and took on an Ottawa team that had allowed a total of only 10 goals in its previous seven games, and hadn’t allowed more than two goals in a game since Jan. 8. So what happened? The Kings scored three goals against the Senators in a single period — the second period — as they turned a one-goal game into a rout. How odd was it to see the Kings dominate so much that they chased an opposing goalie from the game? The Kings reached the four-goal mark for the 11th time in 50 games this season, and they’re 10-0-1 when they do so. What was the key aspect of the Kings’ 4-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators?
