The Kings will announce a couple roster moves soon, with Drew Doughty going on injured reserve and defenseman Slava Voynov being called up from Manchester of the AHL. [update: It’s now official.] Even if Doughty, with his “upper-body” injury, is out for the minimum of the 7-10 days he is estimated to be out, he could still return when healthy. Voynov played in two games for the Monarchs this weekend, with one goal and one assist, and was a healthy scratch today. He should be in town when the Kings resume practice tomorrow at 11 a.m. in El Segundo.
