Insiders, welcome back to preseason hockey, Frozen Fury edition. While for many of you, with fond Frozen Fury memories, the adjustment to the event now being in Utah is likely somewhat substantial. Hopefully, however, we can build new traditions here in Salt Lake City, as the event continues to build and grow in the coming years. As reported in today’s preview, the expectation is that Phillip Danault and Alex Edler will make their preseason debuts, with a lineup that looks more veteran than youth, but still missing players like Kopitar, Doughty, Arvidsson and Brown. How it shakes out, we will see.

Game Group is linked HERE, and lineups to follow. With tonight’s game broadcast nationally on TNT, we’ll return to our usual, regular-season game thread updates, as opposed to more of a play-by-play style, which was provided to help alleviate the lack of a broadcast. The game will also be streamed on radio, with Kings alum Derek Armstrong joining Nick Nickson tonight on the call.
