LA Kings Insider Show – Round 1 Q&A

Happy Playoffs, Insiders!

You guys delivered with the questions and hopefully we were able to provide some answers.

It’s a challenging Round 1 series for the Kings no matter how you shake it. I think that a number of factors will need to either go the Kings way or be non-factors in order to find some success, many of which are the things that you all asked about in the comments yesterday. Hopefully we were able to provide some answers to help in that category. For transparency, we recorded this just before practice today. Our injury updates answer was pretty spot on, though it was a slight estimate at the time! Otherwise, I think we were able to work in around 15 questions, plus several duplicates that we combined or turned into two-part questions if it called for it.

Everything gets underway tomorrow. It’ll be a challenge no doubt, but even when you’re staring down a massive underdog situation, the excitement going into Game 1 never ceases to amaze me. Just a special time of the year and it’s always tremendously exciting to be a part of. Hoping this year is no different for everyone here.

No morning skate for the Kings tomorrow, with the afternoon puck drop. Game preview will drop early AM, leading into Game 1!
