Kings Coaching Staff Updates

Quick post for right now, Insiders.

The @LAKings have relieved Head Coach Jim Hiller of his duties as of this morning.

DJ Smith is the Interm Head Coach for the remainder of the 2025-26 regular season and former LAK defenseman Matt Greene joins as an Assistant Coach.

Jim Hiller has been relieved of his duties as the Head Coach of the LA Kings. D.J. Smith has been named as the team’s Interim Head coach for the remainder of the 2025-26 season, while former Kings defenseman and player development staffer Matt Greene has been named as an assistant coach for the remainder of the season as well.
