The Week Ahead + Insider Q&A

Good Morning, Insiders!

Just wanted to share a heads up here that I wont be with the team this week to provide coverage. Jared Shafran, who should be very familiar by now from his coverage with the Ontario Reign, will have the lead on practice coverage today and Wednesday, as well as gameday coverage for tomorrow’s game versus Winnipeg and Thursday’s game versus Florida. Will have some Ontario Reign content in there as well from Cam McGuire, with three games for the Reign scheduled, as well as hopefully some additional coverage there. Expecting to be back hopefully by the weekend and should resume my own coverage of the team this weekend as the Kings head to Pittsburgh to begin a five-game trip. My expectation right now is to be back with the team by then, but it’s the Shaf-Show until that time!

So, for today, I am traveling and I’m happy to try and take some time to answer your questions below. Lots of time on the plane and at the airport……so fire away. Keep ’em easy for a wary traveler :).

Certainly not the start to the season the Kings expected, with five wins from 13 games. Not all is as desolate as it’s sometimes made out to be, but there’s been a lot that has not gone according to plan. I won’t be on this thread religiously as normally during a Q&A, but I’ll be checking as much as I can through the afternoon until Jared has his practice story up later on, and can answer all of your questions as I have time throughout the day!
