What To Know
– The Kings roster will be broken into three separate groups to begin NHL training camp, with those breakdowns listed above for the first six days of camp. The three groups will likely continue for the first portion of training camp, until cuts are eventually made and players are assigned to either their respective junior team, or to Ontario Reign training camp. For now, starting on September 29, the times listed compose the entire group, as opposed to a breakdown.

– The Kings are slated to play seven preseason games, in addition to the Kings vs. Kings Showcase in Ontario. The Kings will host Anaheim and Arizona at STAPLES Center, along with Vegas in Salt Lake City, Utah for Frozen Fury. On the road, LA will visit Arizona, San Jose, Anaheim and Vegas. The KvK showcase will be the first organized team event of camp, following three practice days.

– All on-ice activity at Toyota Sports Performance Center is open to the public. Tickets will be required for all on-ice sessions and free entry can be secured here starting now exclusively for Season Ticket Members and beginning Monday, September 20, at 10 a.m. for the general public. Due to state and county guidelines, all guests must meet the health screening required, including full vaccination or proof of negative test, and approved face coverings must be worn at all times unless actively eating or drinking.

– The full training camp roster has yet to be released at this time. The Kings will have a group of 28 players representing the organization this weekend at the 2021 Rookie Faceoff in Arizona. From there, many of those players will go on to main camp. The rookies will skate tomorrow morning at Toyota Sports Performance Center, before departing for Arizona, with the first game taking place on Friday afternoon at 3 PM.

– We will have full coverage from both rookie camp and main camp here on LAKI. Excited to be traveling to Arizona this weekend, and expect to see multiple posts here each day, chronicling the games and practices from the Rookie Faceoff. For main camp, we will be in attendance each day to provide notes, quotes and info as the Kings gear up for the 2021-22 season. Excited to get back into it.
