Revamped LA Kings Insider Design Coming Today

Insiders, new content on the site will be paused today, as we revamp the look and feel of the LA Kings Insider Platform.

Before the 2020-21 season, we detailed some of the changes coming to the platform in terms of editorial content. Another step in that process comes today, with the redesign of the site.

– The new website will be built for multiple writers, with new voices contributing.
– The “new look” will be easier to read and navigate, including the home page and articles.
– More podcasts, video content and audio content will be integrated into the revamped platform.
– Disqus commenting will stay exactly the same, and should remain active and unaffected as the website undergoes a makeover today.

The changes to the appearance of the website will be ongoing throughout the day today, with the hopes of having new content returning to the website later tonight. The Kings are not scheduled to practice today and will return to the ice tomorrow.

Rules for Blog Commenting

  • No profanity, slurs or other offensive language. Replacing letters with symbols does not turn expletives into non-expletives.
  • Personal attacks against other blog commenters, and/or blatant attempts to antagonize other comments, are not tolerated. Respectful disagreement is encouraged. Posts that continually express the same singular opinion will be deleted.
  • Comments that incite political, religious or similar debates will be deleted.
  • Please do not discuss, or post links to websites that illegally stream NHL games.
  • Posting under multiple user names is not allowed. Do not type in all caps. All violations are subject to comment deletion and/or banning of commenters, per the discretion of the blog administrator.

Repeated violations of the blog rules will result in site bans, commensurate with the nature and number of offenses.
