NHL Announces Dates for 2020 NHL Draft and Opening of Free Agency

NEW YORK – The National Hockey League announced today the dates for the 2020 NHL Draft as well as the opening of free agency:

The 2020 NHL Draft will be held virtually over two days. Round 1 will take place at 4 p.m. PT on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Rounds 2-7 will begin at 8:30 a.m. PT on Wednesday, Oct. 7.

The LA Kings hold the second overall selection, and currently have a total of 11 picks in the 2020 NHL Draft.

Free agency will open Friday, Oct. 9, at 9 a.m. PT.

Rules for Blog Commenting
