Good morning, Glendale, and good morning, Insiders.

No long write-up today. No Munters, either. LAKI is back in the bowels of Gila River Arena, awaiting rare Arizona morning availability – the Coyotes usually hold gameday skates in Scottsdale – after an early flight from LAX, which was already warm under a pastel sky at sunrise. The decision to hang back for a night was also rewarded by a tremendous sunset, shown below without a filter.

If you were still sleeping during my 5:35 a.m. SiriusXM NHL radio hit this morning like a normal person, Michael Lippa was kind enough to send over a recording. Enjoy, and let’s talk soon. [howling]
