LA Kings alum and Stanley Cup champion Brayden Schenn has always been an interesting player to chat with on game days. Thoughtful and intelligent, he lucidly explains what he sees on the ice and provides good context for that night’s game. Speaking with LA Kings Insider on Thursday, Schenn previewed the first game contested by the 1967 expansion clubs in which both teams are Stanley Cup champions. We talked about St. Louis’ success in limiting Colorado’s shots on Monday – an important detail when going against an L.A. team that leads the league in shots on goal – and what it meant for Jordan Nolan to get on the ice with the Blues and lift the Stanley Cup for a third time.
