Super Bowl LIII Open Thread

Enjoy the Super Bowl, Kings and Rams fans and, who knows, maybe there are a few Patriots fans on this board, too. You are also welcome to enjoy the game.

The Kings always take good care of us when we’re away for the Super Bowl. The players arrangements are set independently, with the coaches, trainers, broadcasters, TV crew and media types’ gathering booked in a separate engagement. Two years ago, when New England came from behind to beat Atlanta, we watched the game from an upscale seafood restaurant’s back patio wearing short sleeves along the water in Tampa. Four years ago, the Super Bowl fell on the day prior to our White House visit, so there were a lot of people there from the organization in town and the team held a Super Bowl party at a restaurant in Washington. Russell Wilson was picked off at the goal line that night.
