Lewis week-to-week after fracturing foot at morning skate

Forward Trevor Lewis suffered a fractured foot when he was struck by a puck at the LA Kings’ morning skate Friday in Chicago and is “probably week to week,” per hockey operations.

This continues an unfortunate run of health for the Kings’ resident unsung hero. Lewis suffered a pair of upper-body injuries during the second half last year that caused him to miss a career-high 14 games and necessitated off-season hand surgery. He finished the 2017-18 season with a career-high 14 goals and 26 points.

The Salt Lake City, Utah native has has three points (2-1-3) in 17 games this season and has totaled 142 points (63-79-142) in 591 career games, all with Los Angeles.

Los Angeles is without Jonathan Quick (IR / meniscus surgery), Jack Campbell (IR / meniscus surgery) and Jonny Brodzinski (IR / shoulder surgery).

More details will be shared both on LA Kings Insider and on Twitter.
