Stevens, Nachbaur relieved of their duties; release coming

The LA Kings have relieved head coach John Stevens and assistant coach Don Nachbaur of their duties, the team confirmed Sunday morning. The news was first reported by Helene Elliott of the LA Times.

The Kings, 4-8-1 through their first 13 games, rank last in the NHL with nine points and a minus-17 goal differential.

A team release with additional information will come shortly. Lots more to come.
