Audio: Quick hits with Julius Honka

The Dallas Stars will be without Alexander Radulov tonight, and are in the process of making a decision on whether they’ll go with six or seven defensemen. 23-year-old Jyväskylä native Julius Honka has been alternating spots on the blue line with Connor Carrick and will likely be in for tonight’s game, set for a 7:30 p.m. local start at the American Airlines Center. Honka spoke about the swift Dallas blue line, which boasts additional Finnish standouts in Esa Lindell and Miro Heiskanen, and the club’s thrust under first-year head coach Jim Montgomery, who joined the organization from the prestigious University of Denver program.
