The Ontario Reign have opened their 2018 Training Camp today at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo. After a large slew of roster moves over the past 24 hours, the Reign begin camp with 28 players (one goaltender, nine defensemen and 18 forwards) on their roster.
From the Reign, below is the team’s roster to open camp –
The Reign added nine additional players today, including forward Zack Mitchell and defenseman Alex Lintuniemi, who were assigned by the Kings this morning after clearing waivers.
Also in the mix is forward Matt Moulson, who has been loaned to Ontario from the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres for the second straight season.
Finally, the Reign have added six players – Adam Gilmour, Rob Hamilton, Zeb Knutson, Nic Pierog, Colton Saucerman, Joe Sullivan – on professional tryouts.
The Reign will be on the ice at Toyota Sports Center today as well as each of the next three days before they open the 2018 preseason on Thursday in Ontario against the San Diego Gulls. A full training camp schedule is pictured below –
