Welcome, Zach Dooley, new Reign Insider

A good morning to you from LAKI’s secret hideaway vacation lair. As noted on Twitter last week, we’re happy to share that Reign Insider will return in full for 2018-19, and Zach Dooley has been hired to provide regular news, reports, quotes and multimedia, similar to the wonderful work undertaken by Lindsay Czarnecki and Joey Zakrzewski. (Best of luck at the World Cup, Lindsay!) Without further delay, here’s a note from Zach…

Let’s make it Reign……Insider!

My name is Zach Dooley and I’m excited to join the Ontario Reign as the Manager of Communications and Content as well as the newest Ontario Reign Insider! On the team side, I’ll be handling content, communications and PR needs while also doubling as the Reign Insider with in depth coverage from all Reign action this season.

First, a bit about me. For the past five seasons, I’ve lived about as far from Southern California as possible – the State of New York – where I worked with the Utica Comets, Adirondack Flames and Adirondack Thunder. I am certainly eager to leave the subzero temperatures in the winter months behind me and now look forward to navigating all this traffic in 90-degree weather.

I’m honored to follow in the footsteps of Lindsay Czarnecki and Joey Zakrzewski, who both did an excellent job with this position, and happy to finally give Reign fans an easy last name to pronounce. I plan to continue some of the great things that Lindsay and Joey brought to the ORI platform while adding my own voice as well. I look forward to meeting many of you at Reign games this season and I’m always up for talking hockey on social media, so send me a tweet! If there’s anything that anyone would like to see from the Reign Insider this summer or season, shoot me a message and I’ll do my best to incorporate it via the website or social media.

It’s only June but I already can’t wait for the puck to drop in October!
