Good Morning, Sunrise

Hello there, Insiders. Good morning from Sunrise, Fla., at the start of the Kings’ seven-game road-trip. So when I got to my hotel room I dashed to my window, hoping for a potential Munters sighting. Unfortunately I didn’t get much of a view outside of a wall. It’s OK – we still have some time.

Last night I looked in my travel bag and it was pretty crazy to see a winter coat, sweaters, gloves and a scarf because this road-trip goes through some of the colder destinations in the NHL. For those wondering, the high temperature in Winnipeg (the last stop on the trip) today is eight degrees while the high in Sunrise is 79 degrees and the low is 71.

So far there’s not much to report other than the fact that the weather has been nice – albeit incredibly humid, which is to be expected in South Florida. If anyone on the blog followed me when I covered the Nashville Predators, they’ll know my extreme dislike for all things involving humidity. I know, I have weird quirks about weather, which is in part why I moved to Los Angeles where it never changes all that much.
