2nd Period:

– Great pressure for SJ on the PP to start period. Campbell with saves in tight. Plenty of traffic. PP comes to a close. Both teams 0/1 and we still sit scoreless.
– SJ Goal: Jeremy Roy fires from right point and squeaks through legs of Campbell. Jon Martin screening. Tim Clifton with lone assist. 2:16 into 2nd period. 1-0 SJ.
– Reign responding well following goal against. Forcing puck well behind goal line and keeping SJ defense looking over shoulders. 1-0 SJ with 15:20 left in 2nd.
– Maillet with a nice tip on Bibeau, but the SJ keeper holds tight. Shots even at 15. SJ leads 1-0 with 12:25 to go in 2nd.

– Poor SJ footing leads to Hensick breakaway, but Bibeau denies him with right pad. Hensick took the direct shot vs. making a move. Promo timeout. 8:34 left in 1st. 0-0
