Black and White: China; catching up on Kings videos

Spending a week in China provided hours of archival footage, which made LA Kings Production and FOX Sports West producers’ jobs challenging as they sifted through such unique content in paring down a week’s compilation of sights, sounds and game highlights into smaller, pithy packages. (For FSW’s China Games special, click here.) Here, the players’ experience taking in several tourist locations around Shanghai and visiting the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China are chronicled through the lens of LA Kings Production, as was the toboggan ride from the Great Wall down to the valley below. Fortunately, the team emerged from the thrilling ride down the steel track without any upper or lower-body injuries to report.

“It was a great experience overall. Maybe even after a couple days when all the things set in, you realize that you’ve been to thee Great Wall of China, and that’s pretty cool.”
