No immediate call-ups in wake of Clifford upper-body injury; Vilardi update

Injury updates this morning, courtesy of GM Rob Blake, as passed along by the team’s PR staff:

As of now, there are no plans for an call-up to replace Clifford in the immediate future. Eventually he will be placed on injured reserve, but I do not believe that such a move is imminent. Clifford will continue to undergo a thorough evaluation, and ultimately, any roster moves will take place after that process is completed. All theoretical roster call-ups traveled with Ontario this morning for a two-game swing that will take them through Des Moines, where they’ll face the Iowa Wild on Friday, and Rosemont, Illinois, where they’ll face the Chicago Wolves on Saturday.

More to come from Thursday’s practice at TSC. Top o’ the morning to you, Insiders.
