-With the loss, Los Angeles fell to 18-11-3 all-time against Florida, a record that includes a home mark of 12-5-0. The loss snapped a seven-game home winning streak in the series since a 5-2 Panthers win at Staples Center on November 27, 2002, a game that featured goals from Ziggy Palffy, Mathieu Schneider, Kristian Huselius, Viktor Kozlov, Marcus Nilson, Ivan Novoseltsev and Sandis Ozolinsh. The teams finished the season series with a 1-1-0 record, with each team winning on the road.
-The Kings fell to 12-13-2 against the Eastern Conference, 4-8-1 against the Atlantic Division, 15-9-4 in one-goal games, 9-20-2 when the opponent scores first, 5-17-2 when trailing after one period, 10-3-2 when tied after two periods and 21-17-2 when outshooting their opponent.

They have allowed a first period goal in all five games and haven’t held a lead in four of the five.
-Darryl Sutter coached his 400th game with the Kings, becoming the second coach to reach 400 games in team history. Andy Murray leads all Los Angeles coaches with 480 games.
-Tanner Pearson extended his goal-streak to three games (4-3=7), tying the longest of his career and tying the longest by a King this season. He extended his career-high to 19 goals on the season.
-By assisting on Pearson’s goal, Jeff Carter extended his assist-streak to three games (2-4=6).
-By assisting on Dwight King’s goal, Nick Shore registered his 10th point of the season (4-6=10), tying his career high, set in 2015-16.
-Since the turn of the calendar year to 2017, Jake Muzzin (-1) is a -12, and Alec Martinez (-2) is a -13.
-Los Angeles attempted 56 shots (35 on goal, 10 blocked, 11 missed). Florida attempted 50 shots (25 on goal, 16 blocked, 9 missed). Marian Gaborik led all skaters with five shots on goal.
-The Kings won 27-of-52 faceoffs (52%). Among regular performers, Anze Kopitar won 9-of-18, Andy Andreoff won 1-of-1, Nick Shore won 5-of-10, Trevor Lewis won 2-of-2, Adrian Kempe won 1-of-2 and Jeff Carter won 8-of-17.
The Kings are not scheduled to hold a morning skate at Toyota Sports Center in advance of their game Sunday evening at Anaheim.
