POSTGAME NOTES
–The Reign improved to 26-12-8-0 overall and 3-3-2-0 against Tucson, which dropped to 21-18-5-0. The Reign are now 15-6-2-0 at home and 21-12-18-0 against Pacific Division opponents.
–Ontario (.652 winning percentage) remains in third in the Pacific Division behind first-place San Jose (.705) and second-place San Diego (.667). They created some space versus Tucson (.543), which is fourth in the standings.
–Goalie Jack Campbell played in his 31st straight game and made 36 saves, tied for the third most he’s made this season. His record improved to 23-9-5 and he also assisted on Cameron Schilling’s empty-net goal.
–Brett Sutter scored for a second straight game and now has two goals and an assist in the last two games. His shorthanded goal was the Reign’s fourth of its kind this season.
–Ontario’s penalty kill went 6-for-6 against Tuscon’s power play, which entered ranked 7th in the AHL at 21.0 percent.
–The Reign improved to 19-0-2-0 when leading after two periods.
–Jonny Brodzinski had an assist and a goal, his 20th of the season, which extended his team lead. He has three goals and an assist in the last four games.
–Schilling’s empty-net goal was his first goal as a member of the Reign and his eighth of the season.
–Mike Amadio scored his 10th goal of the season and now has points (1-1=2) in consecutive games.
–With an assist on Brodzinski’s goal, T.J. Hensick continues his point streak to four games (all assists).
–Defenseman Alexx Privitera has assists in back-to-back games.
–The Reign were outshot, 37-29, and were led by Justin Auger’s game-high six shots on goal.
–Today is defenseman Damir Sharipzianov’s 21st birthday.

–Prior to the game, the Reign announced the addition of defenseman Craig Wyszomirski, who has been signed to a PTO comes to the Reign from ECHL-Manchester. The 24-year-old Wyszomirsky (pronounced WIZ-OH-MEER-SKI) has 11 points (4-7=11) in 40 games with the Monarchs this season. A native of Mahwah, New Jersey, he played collegiately for three seasons at Merrimack College.
–The Reign are 2-3-2-0 against the Roadrunners this season and have lost the last three meetings.
–The Reign will wear the infamous Kings alternate “Burger King” jerseys from the mid-90s, which will be auctioned off after the game. It’s all part of LA Kings Affiliation night.
