Good morning, Broward County, and good morning, Insiders.

I don’t want to gush over the spring break-y centers of South Florida when we have Southern California beaches in our own backyard, but has been stated in previous visits to the southernmost outpost of the Atlantic Division, this does beat visiting Calgary and Edmonton in February. Today is a recovery day, too, and it’s a beautiful day outside, so please be on your best behavior in the commenting section and do not pick fights, slander other commenters, get into religious or political debates, post personal information, hack the administration system of LAKI, threaten any lives, infiltrate my IP address to operate a phishing ring, create a fake @lakingsinsider account where the “lower case l” is actually a “capital I” or attempt to unleash the wayward souls of long-cornfielded Insiders and resurrect them at Hardhome as an army of the dead.

(Who am I kidding? I’m totally watching old Mr. Show clips in my hotel room today.)

So, the Kings are off. This is a CBA-mandated off-day that was built into the schedule a long time ago – Darryl Sutter and the veterans on the team’s leadership committee generally break down the schedule and work in off-days the summer prior to the season – and probably a needed one for a team that, while approaching their bye week, is also coming off a three-in-four and hasn’t had a recovery day since January 19. After WUWTK/The View, I’m not scheduling any stories to go up.
