POSTGAME NOTES

–With the loss, the Reign dropped to 17-7-6-0 overall, 8-5-1-0 at home and lost for the first time in regulation since Dec. 14, a streak that reached seven games. Texas improved to 17-13-1-2 and wins the season series against Ontario, 3-0-1-0.

–Adrian Kempe’s power play goal was his eighth goal of the season and fourth in last seven games.

–With an assist on Kempe’s goal, defenseman Zac Leslie is on a three-game point streak with three assists in that span.

–The Reign’s power play went 1-for-5 and is now second in the AHL at 26.4 percent.

–Vincent LoVerde had an assist on Kempe’s goal and the All-Star selection continues to lead Reign defense in points with 18 (5-13).

–Goalie Jack Campbell made his 15th straight start and made 20 saves. His record fell to 14-4-3 on the season.

–Shots on goal finished 23-22 in favor of Texas. Justin Auger led all players with four shots on goal.
