–The Reign improved to 2-0 on the season as did goalie Jack Campbell, who finished with 30 saves on 35 shots.

–It took Jonny Brodzinski just his second game to score this season after taking him 18 a season ago.

–T.J. Hensick, Vincent LoVerde and Michael Mersch lead the Reign with two goals each. Sean Backman, Brodzinski, LoVerde and Hensick are tied for the team lead in points with 3.

–The Reign improved to 5-for-12 on the power play on the season.

–Andrew Bodnarchuk, a former Monarch who won the Calder Cup with the team before it moved to Ontario, had a goal and two assists.
