Here’s a big thank you to Craig Morgan, Jamie Eisner and Luke Lapinski of Today’s Slapshot for inviting me on the Slapshot Podcast yesterday. We took a long look at the Kings and covered a lot of ground, from Dustin Brown and Darryl Sutter to the loss of Milan Lucic and the expectations of negotiations between the club and its 2017 restricted free agents, namely Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson. Apologies for stating that Tom Gilbert’s salary was $1.6M when in fact it is $1.4M (Teddy Purcell, you’re on my mind). Plugged in Ottawa Sun reporter Bruce Garrioch also shares his Senators season preview.
