Brian, debuted with the St. Louis Blues in the 1976/1977 season. Darryl and Duane made their debuts with the Chicago Black Hawks and New York Islanders, respectively. During the 1980/1981 season, brother number four, Brent, took to the ice with the New York Islanders. The fifth and sixth Sutter brothers, twins Rich and Ron, made their debut in 1982/1983 with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers, respectively. For five seasons, all six Sutter brothers played in the National Hockey League. The 2000/2001 season marked the 25th consecutive year that a Sutter brother played in the NHL.
