On how Vincent Lecavalier has helped the team:
Well, we lost two veteran centermen that won two cups with us, so it was a big hole for us and it was last year to for the most of it. He has come in and filled that gap and filled the three-four hole for us.
On what Tuesday’s win does for the Kings, “mentally”:
We’re just trying to hang in there. It doesn’t do much for me at all. Hey, it’s difficult. We played late last night, time change again. It’s hard to win in this league. We win tonight, and we’ve been really good three-on-three all year. You look at the first three guys, Jeff and Kopi and Drew have been out there for those goals how many times? It’s awesome to see. I was just saying, someone should talk about that’s a franchise record for the Kings for wins. That’s 47 wins in a year, and the goal going into the year was to try and get 100 points, and we’re that close. That’s pretty good for a team that didn’t make the playoffs last year.
