Last chance: Patiné Winemaker’s Dinner at The Lexus Club

Los Angeles Kings television color coordinator and Patiné vintner Jim Fox and winemaker Mike Smith are hosting a special dinner at the Lexus Club inside Staples Center prior to the game against San Jose on Tuesday, December 22. The details and wines to be sampled are below:

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22, 5:45 PM
-Check in at 5:30 p.m., dinner starts promptly at 5:45
-Five course meal hand crafted to pair perfectly with each wine
-The event is limited to 40 attendees and few spots remain

2014 Ancillary Cellars, Chardonnay
Lemon zest, brioche and white sage combine with bright acidity. Notes of lemon pie, peach and a touch of passion fruit immediately come into play

2013 Patiné Pinot Noirt, Sun Chase
Light to dark raspberry in the glass, aromas of dried rose petals, crushed bright cherries and mint

2013 Patiné Pinot Noir, Gap’s Crown
Bright purple garnet in the glass, red and blue fruits licorice and dried spring flowers

2013 Patiné Pinot Noir, Soberanes
Rich hues of dark ruby in the glass comingle with wild aromas of pomegranate, raspberries and lavender. Hints of spice, graham and clove
