-With the loss, Los Angeles fell to 19-9-2 all-time against Ottawa, a record that includes a road mark of 7-7-1. These teams will conclude their season series on January 16 at Staples Center.

-The Kings fell to 9-4-2 against the Eastern Conference and 3-2-2 against the Atlantic Division. Monday’s game marked the sixth of eight consecutive games against the Eastern Conference. Thus far they are 4-1-1 (W vs PIT, W vs TBL, W @CBJ, W @ PIT, OTL @ BUF, L @ OTT, 12/17 @ MTL, 12/19 @ TOR).
