November 23 postgame notes

-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 17-10-3 all-time against Florida, a record that includes a road mark of 5-6-3. The Kings finished the season series against the Panthers with a 2-0-0 record and haven’t lost the season series since 2002-03, when they were 0-1-0-0. Los Angeles is 12-2-0 in the last 14 head-to-head match-ups with Florida.

-The Kings improved to 5-3-0 against the Eastern Conference and 2-1-0 against the Atlantic Division.

-Los Angeles has scored at least two goals in 18 consecutive games.

-After a stretch of 15 consecutive successful penalty kills, the Kings are 16-for-21 while shorthanded on the current road trip. They have been shorthanded at least three times in 10 consecutive games.

-Marian Gaborik played his 900th career game.

-Drew Doughty’s streak of taking a minor penalty ended at seven games. His 30:14 of ice time was a season-high and represented the first time he logged more than 30 minutes this season.

-By logging 21:19, Anze Kopitar has logged at least 20 minutes in back-to-back-to-back games, the longest consecutive stretch of games since logging at least 20 minutes in the first five games of the season. By recording one assist, he now has 12 points (2-10=12) in 12 career games against Florida.

-Los Angeles attempted 46 shots (31 on goal, 9 blocked, 6 missed). Florida attempted 50 shots (32 on goal, 7 blocked, 11 missed). Aaron Ekblad led all skaters with seven shots on goal and 11 shot attempts. Nick Shore, Dustin Brown and Tyler Toffoli led the Kings with four shots on goal each.

-Los Angeles won 27-of-61 faceoffs (44%). Anze Kopitar won 9-of-23, Andy Andreoff won 1-of-1, Nick Shore won 5-of-13, Trevor Lewis won 3-of-6 and Jeff Carter won 9-of-18.
